Full of all kinds of schtick comedy, The Waterboy is below average material. The laughs are great, but they're too far apart. Sandler looks like he's worrying about his baby talk more than trying to act funny on camera. The best parts are his tackles. I just wished the other jokes were as hysterical.

Disc
It is nice to see Buena Vista including more than a trailer on their dvds. However, that featurette is filled with scenes from the movie and is about 5 minutes long. Not too informative. The audio is not groundbreaking, but it's fine. The tackles are heard nicely through the surround channels. The video, though non-anamorphic, is perfect. The orange colors from the uniforms really stand out.

Overall
If you're a Sandler nut, you probably have bought this. Otherwise, rent it first. Not recommended.
