Movie
Arnold returns, except this time he�s programmed to protect
rather than to kill. John Connor, the future�s hope of stopping
the terminators, is accompanied by Schwarzenegger. A new
type of terminator, made of liquid metal, is sent to kill John.
Cameron also wrote and directed this high-powered sequel
to the classic The Terminator. Much more dazzling effects
and action in this film. May be more popular than the
original. $200 million+ hit is explosive, exciting, and loud. One of the greatest action movies ever made.
Disc
This dvd has virtually no features. Aside from the text stuff, there are a couple of trailers. The teaser is just awesome. Anyhoo, you'll be buying this for its anamorphic transfer and pounding audio. The transfer is excellent, by the way. This is the cleanest this movie has ever looked. The anamorphic transfer adds more sharpness to the film and much more detail, something vhs and laserdisc can never do. What's even better is the smashing sound. This is one big loud movie. This disc should always be ready if you want to impress your friends with your sound system. That scene when Ah-nuld takes on the entire police force offers great bass and really neat surrond. This movie may be short on features, but the technical side is outstanding.
Overall
This is easy to recommended. Everyone has seen it and it is very popular. I'm a huge James Cameron fan and this is his biggest movie ever. Yes, there is a T2: Special Edition coming, but if you can't wait, like me, go get this standard version. Highly Recommended.
