Captain Kirk makes his final appearance in the film. After being a guest of honor aboard a new Enterprise, Kirk is shot into the past after rescuing the Enterprise from disaster. He eventually meets up with Picard, and both risk their lives to save the world, again. Eye-popping effects keep this slow-moving adventure from being pure crap. Also features the unpopular death of Captain James T. Kirk.

No features. Okay, next. The video is non-anamorphic and it shows. Though the video is generally very good, there some pixelation. And the movie has a dark shade here and there. Thank goodness the audio is better. This is the strongest mix of any Star Trek movie I've seen on dvd. The bass is phenominal. Rear channels are put to great use. Overall, the audio is reference quality. A big plus in the bass department.

Overall
The movie is average. There are no features at all. The video could've been better. And the audio rocks. Not recommended, but rent it to test out your system.
