Movie
What starts off as an accident, turns out to be a nightmare. 4 senior high school students, celebrating the end of their last term, decide to have a little fun. On their way back from partying, they accidentally hit someone in the road. Not knowing what to do, they decide to dump the body in the ocean. 1 year later, they each receive a note saying, "I Know What You Did Last Summer". Who's the one sending the notes? It really doesn't matter because this is a horror movie cashing in on the success of SCREAM.

Disc
This dvd of the sleeper horror hit is well-produced. There is a commentary from the director and the trailer. That's not alot of extras, but it's better than most standard releases. The video is anamorphic, even though I couldn't find it on the package. Most of the scenes are at night, so the blacks need to be dark and they are. It's a clean print and a very nice transfer, again from Columbia. The audio is surprisingly active. Your sub woofer will get a nice little workout. The soundtrack is great, as is the case in most teen flicks. In all, a nice little package for a sub-par movie.

Overall
This movie isn't bad, it's just not as good as the SCREAM movies, which obviously got this one made. Most have seen this, so if you like it, buy it.
