Combine Tarantino's snappy dialogue and Rodriguez's frentic pacing and what you'll get is a movie as entertaining and crazy as this one. Clooney and Tarantino are bandit brothers who hold up at a Mexican bar, only to find out it's run by vampires. With the help of their hostages (including Harvey Keitel), they start to kick some butt. Lots of fun.

Features
Many fans have been waiting the release of this title and it's finally here. And it brought all the features with it. The full-length feature "Full Tilt Boogie" is here on disc 1 and the film and extras on disc 2. And they include a making-of, and commentary by Rodriguez and Tarantino. If you love to hear Mr. Tarantino talk (who doesn't?), this is your chance to hear him talk some more...alot more. There's also plenty of outtakes, with most featuring Clooney screw-ups. Deleted scenes round out the package. Absolutely loaded.

Audio
This 5.1 track is not overly powerful, but it gets the job done when warranted. The surrounds are basically used during the vampire sequences. The bass is fairly consistent. The dialogue is recorded at a decent rate, but you may find yourself turning up the volume just a tad to hear them speak. All in all, a very good mix.

Video
I believe when this title was first announced, Di$ney promised 16x9 enhancement. It's not here. That makes Di$ney lie number 1000, I think. Still, the transfer is good. The only flaws are near the end of the picture, where you begin to see a bit of wear and tear on the print. This would've benefited from the anamorphic transfer, but Di$ney was just too lazy.

Overall
This is definitely one for the Friday night party library. It's a great role for Clooney and Tarantino's wit is peppered throughout the entire movie. Oh, and there's tons of extras. A must-buy for horror fans.
