Film
Relying on the help of a pimp (Eddie Griffen), Schneider gets set up with a series of ladies who pays for his favors. For him, though, none are sexual. The ladies vary from a giant, who's so tall that her face doesn't fit on screen, to a woman who suffers from narcolepsy.
The first half of the movie features alot of gut-busting laughs. The story becomes a little stagnant when Schneider finds the woman he's been looking for, and the movie moves along at a snails pace. But those first 45 minutes are definitely worth a look.
Features
That featurette is the worst one I've ever seen. Clocking in at 2 minutes and 30 seconds (!), it offers nothing to the viewer, except subliminal messages stating "go see this movie". The storyboards are nice, but why put it on a comedy like this? And there's the trailer, which is quite funny.
Audio
Comedies get shafted when it comes to sound. No bass, no surround, it's all up front. Anyways, you can hear the dialogue easily. So no problems with the 5.1 mix.
Video
I was a little disappointed with this anamorphic transfer. A movie that was just released in December of 1999 shouldn't have this many dirty spots. There's a few grainy scenes, and a couple of times, the picture shakes from left to right. Someone at Touchstone must have missed this tiny flaw.
Overall
Definitely worth a rental, but unless you're a Rob Schneider junky, I wouldn't purchase this. Plenty of funny stuff, but the video and features aren't that great.
