This comedy/drama has an ample amount of good acting in it. Affleck is strong in the lead while Adams does a nice job playing a gay/strait character. She excels during the drama parts. And then theres Jason Lee, who plays Afflecks longtime buddy and the guy who doesnt approve of the new relationship. He provides the comic relief and throws out some hilarious one-liners, some of the funniest Ive heard.

The subject matter has strong graphic detail, but with the good performances, this is a very uplifting romantic comedy. And the movie has issues (faithfulness, friendship, etc) that many people can relate to, which may be its biggest asset. The scene with Ben Affleck and "Silent Bob" (Director Kevin Smith) and his buddy is one of the funniest scenes in recent memory.

Features
This is a complete transport of the laser disc. The same features are on here except the brand new DVD intro from Kevin Smith. It is extremely funny, and includes his reference to the "f*** dvd" line in the commentary.

Speaking of the commentary, it is one of the most amusing and funny recordings I have ever heard. It's dominated by Smith and Ben Affleck, but Jason Mewes will throw out stuff for no reason. You'll get alot of tidbits about the film and Smith really enjoys talking about this film. In the insert, you'll find out that this is his favorite of the films he has done.

Audio
This 5.1 track isn't going to impress too many people. Smith is a dialogue guy, so that's all you'll need to hear. Surrounds are non-existent, as well as the bass. But that's understood. Not the cleanest mix, but this still sounds better than any other format this movie has been on.

Video
Smith is all about his dialogue and how it's delivered. If that's the case, he probably doesn't care how his movie is presented. The coloring in this film is bad. Lots of bland parts and the print, at times, looks like it has been stepped on. The transfer is anamorphic, but you can't do much with it on such a small budgeted film. There's plenty of grain to find and blips come up alittle too often. But this is the best the film has looked.

Overall
Easily my favorite in the "Jersey" series. It's the funniest of the 4 Smith movies and it's the only one that is actually about something. It's worth the $25.
