I dedicate this page and the two that follow to my
sister's, who gave their lives in the battle against Cancer. Let this page
serve as a reminder to all who read it that this battle is not one that
is fought by few and alone but by many and it tears at many hearts each
time a friend or loved one passes from this disease.
Dont grieve for
me for now I'm free.
I'm following the path GOD laid for me.
I took his hand when I heard him call.
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day.
To laugh to love, to work to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
I've found that peace at the close of day.
If my parting has left a void.
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh,a kiss....
Ah yes these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow.
I wish you the sunshine of tommorrow.
My life has been full.
I've savored much.
Good friends, good times, a loved ones touch.
Perhaps my time seems too brief.
Dont lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your heart and share with me.
GOD wanted me now. He set me free.
This I leave on this page to be shared by all who have lost a brother,
sister, friend or loved one. Whether it be in the line of duty or just
GOD's will may we all gain strength from this.
