on Saturday, June 23 at Rhode Island Hospital
Anfield was only 27 years
old and had been on the force since January of 2000
He is survived by
his wife and two step children.}

A few notes on Officer Anfield.

Anfield had been with the Fall River Police Department for about 18
 months before his death. Before that, he worked as a corrections
 officer in Bridgewater and was a member of the SWAT team there.
 Anfield had recently applied for and been nominated to a position in
 the Police Department's honor guard, which marched at his funeral.
 He had also taken an examination required to become a federal marshal.
