| Formerly a human ninja and member of the Japanes mimja clans Shirai Ryu, Scorpion is now a hell spawned revenat, in exorably seeking vengence against those responsible for the destructon of his clan and the death of his family. Although essentially evil in allegiunce, Scorpion will align with anyone who can assist his plans of revenge. In addition, he is ually portrayed and menacing appearance. He was once manipulated by Quan Chi, who promised him life in exchang for his impressive combat abilities in order to defeat Sub-Zero. Since Scorpion's a specter, sorcery and succeeded in destroying him an abbsolute sense. |

| "Scorpion" was the code name of one of the Shirai Ryu's finiest warriors a ninja assassin named Hanzo Hasashi His father, a former clansman, forbade his son from joining as he did not wish to live an assassin's life, but this request fell on deaf ears because Hanzo wanted a comfortable life for his wifeand son. During the events of Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero was enlisted by Quan Chi to find a map hidden in the Shaolin Temple. However, Quan Chi had also hired Sub-Zero-Scorpion's arch nemesis's and member of the rival Lin Kuei Clan- as insurance in case failed in his mission. |
