What would be a notible event of the 90's. Of all things, the collectible trading card game came into being, and changed the scene of gaming and spending for both children and adults.
So what is a collectible trading card game? At it's simplest, it's just a card game where the players bring their own decks to; decks they have "built" out of a series of cards they have bought or traded for. A set of rules of how those cards can be used, and there you have it.
