Julie was everyone�s favorite cat. Her �home� is a small patch of grass beside a footpath. In the evenings especially, people returning home from work use the footpath. And cute Julie would sit and watch people go by.
Once in a while, a child would stop to pat or stroke Julie. She didn�t mind at all. Neither do the parents. Julie was safe with children. I think she loves children, and children feel the same way about her.
I love her too. Julie was such a loving and gentle cat. I could even carry her in my arms and she wouldn�t struggle. I often visit her on my way to and from a jog, when I had to use the footpath.
Unfortunately, Julie disappeared completely. Rumor has it that someone took her. I do hope that she had been taken by a cat lover and is now safe in somebody�s home. How I miss Julie so. And I am sure that children miss her too. |
