| NAME: Tremaine McKenzie APPEARANCE: Tremaine stands 6' 2, 200lbs of a well muscled and toned physique. Tremaine is ususally concealed in black clothing except for a red sash that runs around his midsection. A patch runs diagonally across his head to cover his left eye. His hair is normally short, except during the winter or cold season whereas, he allows it to grow to any length. Sometimes, women envy his long jet black tresses, with a slight curl and wave and a brilliant luster in it. With each stride, Tremaine walks with ease, comfort and dignity. Across his back is a quiver, a bow and unless tied around his waist, a longsword in a sheath. A long black cloak flows magestically behind him, dragging the floor as it seems to long for even his tall stature. The worn black leather boots that rise to just below his knees are silent, even across the cobblestone streets of Messina. His eye is black as coals, but large and one might mistake this attribute for kindness or not. He lost his left eye during the torture session that was an attempt to make him confess his dealings with the assisination of his ruler. He has always denied any betrayl. His skin is tanned and he seems to be the age of his late 20's or early 30's. RACE: Human/Mage STATUS: Tremaine is from across the great sea that seperates two large contents. One being that of Raven's Keep, the other being Shirmire. Shirmire is an enormous empire, similar to the likes of Rome in ancient times. Tremaine, being a highly stated warrior was betrayed by his fellow captains. They had wished the leader dead. Advising a plan they followed through with it. When heads rolled, there was but one left to blame, Tremaine. It was his station that allowed the intruder into the palace. Although absent when the crime was committed, the leader is always held responsible. The intruder killed their leader and left clues so obvious that led everyone to Tremaine. Upon the day of his trial, his one an only love Kae, devised a plan to free him. But at great cost. She lost her life, instead that Tremaine might live. He was the tender age of 17 when he fled his home. To this day, he holds beneath his clothes, close to his heart, the last letter that Kae wrote to him. My Sweetest Dream, I pray that this letter finds you well and safe. It is a prayer that you live and do great things with the life and chance that I offer you. Do not waste your life, or idly run from the shadows of your past. I pray that you find love, life and happiness. It is my last request of you, it is my only dream. Please make it so, I pray...... Your Kae Every day that passes, Tremaine touches his chest. He can feel the parchment between his shirt and cloak where it has remained all these years. He has promised to fulfill Kae's hopes for himself. But, he knows that she could have never have known the difficult thing that she had asked of him. It would have been much easier to have laid by the way-side and gave up his spirit to join her. Instead, he strives each day to become what he had always hoped to have been with his Kae. However, after staying at Raven's Keep, and meeting a beauitful young lady by the name of Talinda D'Ambreeville, he no longer clings to the small parchment once held so close. Now he has found his second reason for existing, his beloved Talinda, his beloved wild rose. Through it all he seems intent upon her safety. Especially after being told she was poisoned, and might not make it to see another day. He's unseperable from her side, unless duty calls. And, his only other duty is Talinda's sister the Lady Sarah and the land that he hopes to call home from now on. PERSONALITY: Tremaine is usually a quiet man. But, once one gets to know him, everyone realizes he is pretty much a normal person. When things are going good for those around him, he rejoices with them. When things are dark with others, he morns with them. He has no use for his dark side and tries to control it. When enraged, he is nothing like the gentile man seen earlier. SKILLS: Tremaine carries the bow for no other reason than it is his best weapon. His longsword is inlaid in gold, the pomel is gold as well, with tiny dragon heads on ither side. His training is that of a soldier, a warrior. But, make no mistake...in Shirmire they too had similar bouts to that of the gladiators......... |
