| NAME: Thorfinn D'Argen APPEARANCE: Eyes: Emerald green Hair: Brown, shoulder length Skin: Light brown Height: 5� 6" Weight: 145# Race: Half-Elven Age: 56 years DESCRIPTION: Thor is an average sized man standing about 5�6" tall and weighs in at 145 pounds. His emerald green eyes peer intently out at you through his shoulder length brown hair. His face is otherwise clean-shaven. He looks to be around the age of a human of 23 years. Most people would only see him as a human person rather then Half-Elven. He is wearing dark gray calfskin pants and a medium gray silk shirt. His reversible cloak is dark gray cloth on the side that is out and a mottled dark grey/black leather on the other. When he removes his cloak, you will notice a large leather harness with multiple sheaths, straps and pouches. To those knowledgeable about thieves� equipment, you would realize this harness is commonly called a "housebreaker". If you could read magic, you would notice the magical runic markings on it and identify it as being magical. The four pouches are each a small bag of holding, one holds a complete set of master crafted thieves tools, files and lock picks, hooded lamp, fine wire and a glass cutter. In one pouch is a magical grapnel, a curious looking device: a black, puckered ball affixed to a fine cord. The grapnel is capable of adhering to even the smoothest of surfaces and will hold up to three large men, with three quick tugs it will release its hold. On the waist belt of the harness are two sheaths, each hold a master crafted short sword. One edge of each sword is silver-plated. The shoulder straps of the harness hold six sheaths, three on each one, in each sheath is a fine throwing dagger. There is also a throwing dagger up each of Thor�s sleeves and one in each of his supple black boots. His final weapon is a blow gun. He has 3 different types of darts; normal, poisoned, and sleep darts. As to other magical items that Thorfinn has. He wears a small amulet of extended life and a ring of health. The amulet allows the wearer to age at one quarter of the normal rate and the ring allows the wearer to heal naturally at twice the normal rate. HISTORY: Thorfinn has entered this world through one of Glevin's Portal. He has come from the land of the Jung on the world of Tymaer. He was fleeing the wrath of a mage for the theft of the amulet and ring that are now in Thor's possession. PERSONALITY:Thorfinn is a thief of much skill. A cautious, patient man. He carefully plans his jobs and scouts out all provenders. Mostly he prefers to work alone but on occasion has had another's assistance. He is friendly toward most everyone but watches them closely before he places any trust in them. His principles prevent him from stealing from the poor, and he will always find a way to give handouts to the street urchins. In times of need, he is a quick thinker and skilled in combat. He prefers not to kill his targets if possible but doesn't lose any sleep over it if it should happen. Except for when he is thieving, he usually obeys the law of the realm. This is mainly to maintain his daytime persona. He does not like to draw attention to himself. CAPABILITIES: Thorfinn is a thief of much skill. He is stealthy and skillful with all tool of the trade. His weapon skills involve two-weapon combat with short swords and daggers. He can throw his daggers with either hand and is proficient with the blow gun. He is ambidextrous and tries to practice daily with each tool and weapon. He has excellent dexterity and speed and is lethe and wiry. |
