| Rules and Regulations are simple and as follows: #1. The following is an email based role playing game. It may contain, SEXUAL CONTENT, COURSE LANGUAGE, VIOLENCE, GORE, NO CHILD PORNOGRAPHY ALLOWED. #2. You MUST send a small sample of your writing, it only needs to be about a paragraph. You can NOT begin role playing until your character is approved. (no sample, no approval. Don't ask unless you've applied properly) #3. You must submitt a character profile. (see below for details) ((We are NOT accepting Vampire Characters at this time)) #4. Do NOT play other characters roles, unless you discuss this with the character you will be roleplaying with. (action or dialogue) This has caused problems in the past. #5. Sexual situations are allowed, but must be tastefully done. NO child pornography allowed. Cursing is allowed but keep it to a minimum. Do NOT use the GD word whatsoever! #6. NO killing of characters, yet. The leader and owner of Raven's Keep is Lady Sarah Thornwyck. She is the most powerful of all role players in Raven's Keep. She is assisted by Talinda D'Ambreeville , Gavin Knightsbridge and Phoenix Darkin (aka Farisaiden) they are in control of all aspects of the roleplay. #7. If you have a problem with a character, or someone's role playing. Email Lady Sarah, Talinda, Gavin, or Phoenix perferably at least two of them at the same time. Their emails are listed below for your convienence. Keep complaints short and to the point. #8. NO God's or Goddess's!!! (Note, just because your character is imortal, doesn't mean they can not die, or be hurt.) There are no killings of major characters whatsoever allowed in the roleplay at this time. #9. There IS NO advertising of other roleplaying games or anything else permitted on or through the onelist (threads/posts). If you wish to have a link added to our links page, we'll try to put it up asap. Which of course we would appreciate a link back to our page as well. (1st offense WILL result in you being banned.) There is a links page for such things and it is opened for the asking. An I encourage any advertising through our website, just not through our post and threads please? As, this greatly disrupts the role playing. #10. The Polls, and other items on the egroups is NOT free for your use. You must obtain permission from Lady Sarah via email before hand. This means, you can not take pollS or use any of the items unless your poll, calendar, files, etc. has been previously approved. #11. No modern weapons, such as guns etc. (this is a fantasy, medieval, mythical role play.) #12. You MUST be able to check your email and respond to the other emails accrodingly. You MUST respond at least every other day or every other 3 days. That means, you write at least twice per week. This prevents the role-play from being held up, or other characters waiting to repsond. If your absent or on vacation, that doesn't include those times. Just dropping an email to the list to let everyone know to role-play around your character will suffice. #13. Keep all OCC comments through the list to a minimum. The OCC should pertain to absence, a plot, time-line etc. You can email the other rpers as their emails are listed on their characters page. #14. HAVE UNBELIEVABE FUN!!! The character you create can travel anywhere in Raven's Keep. There are many portals that have yet to be opened. New lands that have yet to be discovered and traveled. Adventure awaits us all... |
