| I am Melissa, the 21 year old writer for Talinda, Ganthro, Desiree, and Elena. When I'm not doing RavensKeep stuff, I'm living my regular little life. I am the middle child of the family (only girl), and I live in Richmond, Virginia. I am happily single with no intention of getting married right now (if ever). I attend Virginia Commonwealth University where I am currently a Senior majoring in English. Next year's a whole new story though because I continue the 5-year program in Teacher Preparation as a Graduate Student. In May 2002, I graduate and that fall I'll be teaching high school English (poor children). When I'm not attending classes (which is rare), I'm off writing my own stories. I'm currently trying to finish a novel that I've been working on since high school, and then I'll send it off to publishing. When it's done and you manage to run across a copy in your travels, don't be surprised if you see Ganthro's name pop up. He is a sort of beta test here, but I assure you, his real character is MUCH darker. Anyway, when not writing, I'm painting, drawing, writing, sculpturing, doing theatre stuff, slaving away for my black and white cat Cleopatra, or making a nuisance of myself. I'm told I'm a fairly accomplished artist, but I think I can always do better. Same goes for writing. And, we all know how much I love a challenge. But I suppose the best way to get to know someone is by their little quirks.. Branch of bamboo . one d4 from One Eyed Jacques and 1 cm. black white dice . Tarot Cards . Island in a bottle (it took me 4 hours to glue it in, destroy it.. not in this life!) . Miniature Catapult . Macaw parrot of styrofoam, muslin, tissues, and quilters pins . Headband with springy, glittery hearts, silver noisemaker . pack of crayons awarded for Best Set Design Artist . Miniature Egyptian sarcophagus (mummy included) . Certificate for having head chopped off in magic show. . Pair of Lego dragons named Onyx and Ember . A human skull . And of course... rose petals, genie bottles, miniature ships, and a sheathed dagger. |
