BIOGRAPHY
A little about me: I've had little experience or interest in art until most recently.  I used to draw pictures of Darth Vader and Storm Troopers from "Star Wars" when I was a kid but never pursued drawing or art.  In my late teen years I really developed a love for landscape photographs, mostly from looking at calendars.  In 1999 I started getting interested in photography.  Before I even had a decent camera I started reading books on the subject, particularly one about Ansel Adams.  In 2000 I bought a Canon Rebel 2000 35mm SLR camera. I enjoyed taking landscape and macro closeup shots.  That was until my home was burglurized and most of my camera equipment taken.  I haven't yet replaced my equipment as I'm wanting to go digital.

My interest in 3D art came in November 2002 when I was looking for software to design my band's album art with.  I stumbled onto a demo version of Bryce 5 and have been hooked ever since.  I was amazed at the power the user had to make realistic looking landscapes, even someone like me who can't draw or paint to save his life!  I began hunting for as many tutorials online as I could find and studying the work of the masters.  Though landscapes are my favorite category, I try other types of images in order to learn and increase my skills as I seek to forge my own style.
