| Peugeots were manufactured in a number of different countries for a while, Canada being no exception. However, original Peugeots are French made. This UO8 is a classic example of the Peugeots manufactured in France. The bicycle pictured here has received a full refurbishment and is now being ridden on a regular basis. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| This Motobecane, once again Made in France, is in very good condition and all but impossible to ride. The "Dunhill Elliptical" crank ring makes the bicycle a nightmare to pedal. The bike was purchased only because it was so different. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Another bicycle Made in France, this one a Gitane that was purchase for twenty dollars from a bike shop in Duluth. The bicycle is in good condition, with one exception. The Simplex front derailleur is broken as is often the case with the plastic derailleurs offered from Simplex. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Two, of the three Torpados that have found their way into the collection. The Luxe model was acquired through a trade for a Peugeot UO6, while the other one, pictured, was purchased for ten dollars at a "Yard Sale" one Saturday afternoon while returning from the local landfill site. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| This Made in England Holdsworth is probably the neatest bicycle to be picked up at the Landfill site. The bicycle is in good condition, sporting the usual scratches associated with long term storage. The decals, too, have seen better days. The bicycle, after being refurbished, is now ridden frequently and is a true pleasure to have. It will be completely restored during the winter. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
