Joe Sakic Way
On July 29 [2001], the city of Burnaby recognized Joe Sakic, who made the trip home with hockey's most prized possession, the Stanley Cup., the first time the cup had come to Burnaby. The city honoured the former Burnaby Minor Hockey player by renaming a portion of Laurel Street, Joe Sakic Way. |
