| Hunting was done either with spear or with a randed weapon, such as the bow or the arbelast. The sword was rarely used unless there was no other option. One could hunt either on horse or on foot, and nobles tended to prefear horseback. However, hunting on horseback in woods was very dangoures, and as most game resided in the forest, most hunts were on foot. |
