Effinger, Matin
According to the link below Effinger, Matin, enlisted in the Second Michigan Infantry in 1861, and was killed in the battle of Malvern Hill, Va., Jul 1, 1862. He actually enlisted in Co. H 16th Michigan Infantry. Page July 5,2005

Kast, Gustav, He was promoted to Captain on the 1st of February 1862. He transfered from the 2nd Mich. Inf. to the 16th Infantry. Resigned 29 July 1862. Page
