May, Dwight on the 30 Nov. 1861 Resigned from 2nd Mich. Inf. & entered 12th Mich. Inf. On the 8th of October 1862 he is promoted to Lt Col. On the 10 June 1865 he is Promoted to Colonel. On the 24 October 1865 he is Promoted to Brevet Brig-Gen. On the 15 February 1866 he is Discharged at Camden Ark.

Mead, Jesse H. Mich. Rnk: Pvt.
Grave in the Veteran's Cemetery in Grand Rapids, Kent Cty. Mi. indicates he was part of the 2nd Mich. Inf. He actually enlisted in Co. F 12th Michigan Infantry.
