CD Review for The Suicide Machines- The Suicide Machines
Uhhhhh.......CRAP! In my opinion at least. This album says only one thing, music made for mainstream commercial use! It sounds nothing like the Suicide Machines I remember, much softer...and crappier. Well, maybe I'm exaggerating a bit. There are about 4 or 5 good songs on this 14 song album. But the other songs aren't mediocre...they suck. I can't stand listening to them. They annoy and agitate me because this CD could have been so good, but turned out so shitty. If the album followed the sound of Permanent Holiday, Green, Sincerity and All Out, it could have been really good. Kind of a melodic punk CD that they haven't yet captured. I don't have anything else to say except I think these guys may be selling out big time. At least Blink 182 went out gradually, these guys just jumped out of their original punk/ska/hardcore style. It has 4 or 5 good songs and the rest a nothing but a waste of my time. Your next CD better be a hundred times better or I'll stop buying your music alltogether.
This gets a pathetic 43/100
