CD Review for Homegrown/Limbeck Split - Connection

     I have to do this in a hurry, so here goes nothing.  Yeah, I bought this cause I liked Act Your Age, Homegrown's previous full length album.  I had never heard of Limbeck before, and I truthfully don't think they are that good.  They don't suck or anything, they're just a little too slow for me and they don't seem to have  much emotion.  The singer seems too flat and it all sounds the same to me.  Homegrown's songs are all really good though.  Both bands' lyrics deal with girls; Homegrown's are sarcastic and funny, while Limbeck's are serious and poetic.  This carries Homegrown's type of music from their previous albums and I suggest this even though it only has three songs.  That's it.

This gets 83/100 because the Homegrown songs are really good, but the Limbeck songs aren't all that great.
