I first heard these guys through a friend at work, and at that time I only thought them to be average. Then I decided to download some songs from Napster to see if their cds were worth buying. I downloaded about 8 songs but only 2 were good. I thought no more about them, but then I began listening to those two songs (Punk Is Just A Bunch Of Kids With Funny Haircuts, Character Building) and I became hooked. I found out the stuff I didn't like was from earlier cds, and the two good songs were from the above cd. Adhesive reminds me a lot of Satanic Surfers on Going Nowhere Fast, with similar lyrics and guitars. These guys really have something to say, actually one verse really caught my attention in Your Morality Is Broken:
"If your God exists- he's a racist
If your God exists- he's a sexist
If your God exists- he's a homophobe
Your God is full of hate and your
religion is a lie"
I know if you're religious you probably hate this band now and me possibly, but it's just their point of view...and mine. But anyway, this cd has lots of variety on it, melodic, skatepunk, one emo song and hardcore as well. Take a listen to the mp3 and judge for yourself, but their worth a listen.
