This is my version of Dave Gingerys melting furnace. It is made with castable refractory cement and a old 10 litre paint can. Im using a Ron Reil burner to fire it, running on LPG i have measured temperatures with a thermocouple of around 1000degC so its what i need to melt aluminum.
