This photo is of my spot welder . As you can see by the photo below i have not completely assembled my welder. The welder was found not to have enough currant, so i have installed 2 more transformers. The estimated amps 1500 , see the photo below for the parts breakdown. Any questions or you would like the plans please feel free to MAIL me. The transformers are from old microwave ovens aus$10:00 each or if your lucky you can scrounge them up for free. I have tried welding 2 pieces of1mm stainless together and it worked fine with a timer setting of 0.3sec. After doing about 25 welds the leads got warm so i have decided to fit the old microwave fan on the top of the unit when i make the case for it.
Below are the welding arms still to be improved.
