I've been a very big fan of d.i.y punk/hardcore from Sweden for a long time. The first bands I ever heard from there were Anti Cimex, No Security and this band Crude SS. Altough it seems impossible to get hold of their music anymore. I recommend you try and get a copy, their great. This was a piece that Ebbe from the band wrote and was done in 1986, in the zine "Sweaty Bums & Sticky Y-Fronts". Sven vocals, Ebbe guitar Hocke drums Dick bass. This line up has been together since July 1984, but before that we had a lot of problems with the line up, me (Ebbe) is the only member left from the start in 1980, hopefully all four of us will continue together for a very long time. And there are bands that all of us are influenced by, those bands are: Crass, Void, Subhumans, Discharge, Crucifix, Chaos UK, Black Flag, Flux, Minor Threat, Poison Idea, Conflict, Amebix, Bad Brains, DRI, Anti System, Motorhead, Septic Death etc. Those bands don't necessarily influence our music in a very clear way; some of them have great and strong opinions and attitudes and as well as music give us their message and although we are ourselves influenced by them, and their way of thinking, we don't see them as idols we don't worship them, we see them as people we can work together with, bands we can cooperate with direct or indirect, we spread the same kind of opinions and therefore we work together, when we do a song we don't say lets do a Discharge song. We are influenced by the power of the music not by actual bands, people who listen to us will find out that we have our own style, all bands have something own. In one way we are influenced by everything we listen too, but I don't think our music sounds like Hanoi Rocks, Lords of The New Church, Cure, Play Dead etc even if some of us listen to this music both the music and the lyrics are reflections of our souls. The music shows that we are not satisfied, that we are aggressively going for something else, the music shows our fear and helps us get rid of it for a while, the same goes for our lyrics, they also show that we are not pleased with the world we live in today. The things we spread with our lyrics are reality in another form. Mostly it is Sven who does the lyrics, but the rest of us come up with words sentences thoughts etc that should be included and we always don't except songs we don't like, as for the music it is as well as always made by me (Ebbe) and then we got some old songs that Pelle the old bass/Vocalist were involved with. We sing about things like animal experiments this system we are living in, guns and weapons, capitalism, the school you must go to, the earth we live on and things in our lives and much more (anti church), (anti violence), (anarchy), and thisis about our EP.
