more old technology...
here it is...i've finally decided to add some more old technology scans to my website. took me long enough :-)
this is a 7x6 riser card from an old IBM aptiva. a total of 5 ISA, 1 PCI and 1 shared ISA/PCI slot are featured on this board. i no longer own the actual riser section that would attach the card to the mobo...
here's an oddity, and i don't know the proper term for it, so hopefully someone out there can help me. this is an ISA card that was part of the same IBM system the riser card came out of. the connector at the 'top' of the image is similar to a centronics connector on a printer, but it isn't. nor is it a scsi interface (i don't believe). this IBM system was quite odd, as the cd-rom and floppy drive were encased in a separate component which connected to this board. if you know what this actually is, please let me know, as i'm dying to find out!
as usual, more to come!
