News: The Plot~!

Dated: February 6, 2001

Here's the info to the plothole to Time Force!

This info came from the site el Fuņaroverse: [ A very fantastic info portal to power rangers infomation ]

" Ladies and gentlemen, we have News."
THQ, the company developing the PRTF video game, has word on PRTF's plot. That word has been brought to us via a network of specially-trained SCUBA carrier-pigeons smuggled out of the THQ building through the toilets.
THQ was also the first source to break the name of the Quantum Ranger, though they'd been told at the time that the name was tentative.

Series concept: "Time Force is a darker incarnation of Power Rangers. It's Darker and dirtier, but maintains the futuristic touch. It's kinda giving the concept of "Power Rangers, if everything went wrong"

Here's what we're told might happen in the first episode... "Whichever villian is first introduced (Ransik might not be introduced until Ransik Lives, but don't bet money on it) will causes a total time collapse, taking over a prison and going into the past to destroy the balance of time so he & his criminal partners may be the rulers of the world when he gets back to 3001. EDITOR'S NOTE: The FK 0:30 PRTF Promo seems to line up with this. Ransik is introduced in the first episode. When the Rangers come after them, somehow the rangers time transportation unit gets attacked/damaged (unclear) but they make it back to 2001 safely. Pink is leader. Villians wreak havoc...badbadbad."

The first 2 episodes won't end happily. The PRTF will follow the MMAR command model. Pink is in overall command, but Red leads in combat. Red will be a 21st century civilian more-or-less hand-picked to recieve a morpher. But throughout the series, the Red Ranger will slowly pull up front as leader, but Pink is still gonna be the big boss!

News from Production: Acting quality is best ever. The graphics and Sets are beautiful. (This jibes with comments Scott Pager made about the initial set designs) And most interesting, the sets will be moving away from the Star Trek, 'brand new' feel. They will be aged look lived-in.

All of this speaks to the basics. Here's some specifics for you. PRTF will be revisiting and filling in some old PR plot holes. Don't get your hopes up about seeing any of the old Ranger cast- but there's a good chance we'll see some of the old villains, especially the ones voiced by actors who still do work for Saban. Robert Axelrod (Zedd) for instance is still working as the voice for Armadillamon on Digimon02.
