With long-term success stories in nearly all key retail categories, the redesigned and recast ``Power Rangers'' franchise returns next year with its most compelling storyline ever that features the five famous superheroes battling evil throughout time in ``Power Rangers Time Force.''

``As we continue to strategically manage the 'Power Rangers' as an evergreen brand, we are confident the property will continue to flourish with the next evolution with the continued support of our licensees and retail partners,'' said Elie Dekel. ``Ultimately, though, it's the kids who continue to discover and rediscover Power Rangers, making it the world's strongest action-adventure brand for kids.''

Since its inception eight years ago, the continued strength of the ``Power Rangers'' brand has continuously proven itself to be an evergreen marked by high sales and ratings. ``Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue'' is currently the No. 1 Saturday morning series among all competition with Boys 2-11 in its timeslot (Nielsen Galaxy Explorer). Master toy licensee, Bandai America, has made the toy line the Bestselling Action Figure of the 1990's (NPD) and according to the latest sales date, the ``Power Rangers'' line was one of the top four action figures in January and February 2000 (TRSTS).

Beginning early 2001, the next evolution of the franchise, ``Power Rangers Time Force,'' premieres February of that year and boasts a unique airing pattern -- instead of quickly stripping into weekdays, ``Power Rangers Time Force'' will treat new and returning fans to a brand new episode every single Saturday of the year, 52 weeks running, to make the popular kids action show even more of a viewing destination.
