Water Club

There's some interesting stuff in the side room here, besides the books. The Lass will tell you about Imakuni?, a strange man who appears in Clubs from time to time. And lucky for you they don't use Fire Pokemon at this Club, because that's why the Gal will trade her promotional Arcanine Lv34 for a more-common Lapras Lv31. Take advantage of it- the deal is worth it. Around the pool in the main room is where you'll find the Water Club members. First up to the table is Amanda, and she can be tough. Amanda- Lonely Friends deck Prizes: 3 Win: 2 Mystery boosters Amanda doesn't use many Pokemon that are vulnerable to Lightning, but there is no real common Weakness, so include a few extra colorless cards and you should do fine. Expect to see strange cards like Wigglytuff Lv36, and be prepared for Amanda to use Trainer cards to heal her Pokemon often. Play cautiously, and you should have little problem. Next up is Sara, who can be a tough opponent because you are only p[aying for 2 prizes, so the quicker attacker will likely win. Sara- Waterfront deck Prizes: 2 Win: 2 Colosseum boosters Sara's deck isn't too tough, but be sure to pack your deck with Pokemon who can attack with only one energy. Speed is essential here, but so is caution. Don't be afraid to retreat a wounded Pokemon if there is even the slightest chance it will get knocked out the next turn- you don't have a lot of room to maneuver here. The final member blocking your way to the Master is Joshua. Joshua- Sound of the Waves deck Prizes: 4 Win: 2 Mystery boosters Joshua can be tough, because he plays lots of basic Pokemon quickly. You have to keep up with him. Luckily, he seems to have a low energy ratio in his deck, and sometimes finds himself unable to power the cards he plays. Take advantage of this with an energy removal strategy, and he should cause little trouble. Of course, after Joshua comes Amy, the Club's Master. Amy- Go Go Rain Dance deck Prizes: 6 Win: Water Medal, 2 Laboratory boosters Amy's deck relies on Lightning-weak Pokemon, so keep yor Lightning deck handy. Use Electabuzz Lv35 and Magnemite Lv13 to delay her until you power up your bench, then let her have it with both barrels. Soon enough, the Water Medal will be yours!
