Psychic Club

In the side room of the Club, you'll find a Pappy with a grudge. He's sick of seeing the Psychic Club members act high and mighty, and wants to see them taken down a peg. He's willing to give you a rare promotional Mewtwo Lv60 if you'll beat the Club Master. A reward for something you were going to do anyway? What a deal! Also in the room is Robert, a Psychic club member who is just itching to duel. Robert- Ghost deck Prizes: 4 Win: 2 Evolution boosters The best weapon against Psychic types is other Psychic types, so get ready to let Robert have it with all the Psychic power you have. He does use some Pokemon who are Resistant to Psychic as well, so include a few extra Colorless types to be on the safe side. In the main room you will find the remaining two members and the Master of the Club. Off to your right is Stephanie, who is a tough customer. Stephanie- Strange Power deck Prizes: 4 Win: 2 Laboratory boosters Once again, your best bet is a Psychic deck. Try to Pokemon who get up and running quickly, and include some Trainer cards that can heal. Stephanie likes to go around the active Pokemon and hit the bench with her attacks, which can be a real pain unless you heal them. Just keep at it, and she'll eventually fall. After Stephanie comes Daniel, who has a truly annoying deck. Daniel- Nap Time deck Prizes: 4 Win: 2 Evolution boosters As the deck name suggests, Daniel's deck is all about putting your Pokemon to sleep. Keep using a Psychic deck, but add some Full Heals to make life a little easier. Dueling Daniel isn't really tough, just bothersome. With the 3 members beaten its time to take on the Master! Murray- Strange Psyshock deck Prizes: 6 Win: Psychic Medal, 2 Laboratory boosters Beating Murray is more a matter of outlasting him than overpowering him. He loves to put Chansey Lv55 out as his active Pokemon and build up his bench, playing Pokemon Center when you get close to knocking Chansey out. Expect to see Mr. Mime Lv28 as a blocker as well with his Invisible Wall power, and Alakazam Lv42 with his Damage Swap power. Use a Psychic deck and and energy removal strategy, and just wear Murray down. Eventually, you'll beat him, and the Psychic Medal will belong to you. Don't forget to show it to Pappy on the way out for your free card!
