Pichu
and Pikachu Information

This
animated Pokemon adventure starts off with Ash and his friends
leaving their Pokemon in a roof top garden until 6 PM. Happy
to be out of their Pokeballs, the Pokemon romp and play their
little hearts out. Amidst all this playing, Pikachu spies two
identical Pichu's on a neighboring rooftop, also enjoying themselves.
Unfortunately, their fun goes awry and one of the Pichu slips
and almost plummets to the ground. Pikachu, seeing this danger
arise, leaps onto a nearby poll in an attempt to save him. But
the Pichu's twin manages to save him, leaving Pikachu literally
just hanging out on a limb. Pikachu, noting how high up he is,
becomes afraid and clings to the pole for dear life. And all
the while, a bunch of mean birds are pecking at him. Pikachu
lets go. All seems lost for our little hero, when out of nowhere,
Hanekko who just happened to be flying about the building save
him by allowing Pikachu to hop from one Hanekko to the next,
using them like stepping stones to reach the building where
the two Pichus reside. Upon meeting Pikachu, the Pichus inform
him that they too would like to play in the garden with the
other Pokemon. Pikachu invites them and off they go... down
a drain pipe that is. Apparently it's the wrong one and Pikachu
and the Pichus are thrown out a window and onto the top of a
bus. The bus makes a sharp move and the already unblalanced
Pokemon are thrown into the river as the bus crosses over a
bridge. After getting over the initial shock of it all---I mean
really, we've all had "one of those days"--- the three pokemon
notice an oncoming ship, that will naturally run them over if
they don't swim like they've never swum before. But fate intervenes
once again and the Pokemon are catapulted out of the water as
a Gyarados surfaces from beneath them. They land with a thud
on the pavement at the feet of a Deriburu. It growls at them
and they run like the wind. In the course of all this running,
they pass a Snorlax sleeping in front of a gate to a park. Snorlax
shifts and the Pichus and Pikachu are able to pass through while
the Deriburu is trapped under the Snorlax. They play in the
park for the rest of the afternoon, but when it gets close to
6, they decide to leave. But as they step towards the exit,
they notcie the Deriburu escaped from under the Snorlax and
is waiting to greet them. Terrified, the three Pokemon run back
into the park with Deriburu pursuing. After a series of near
misses and a run through the obstacle course, Deriburu accidentally
knocks over the tire castle in the middle of the park. When
it looks like the end for our characters, Pikachu cries out
for help and Pokemon from all around come to his aid. They mangae
to keep the castle from falling and return to the rooftop garden.
Pikachu says goodbye to those wobegone-like Pichus and his new
friend Deriburu and prepares to meet Ash. Ash comes back and
takes Pikachu and his other Pokemon into a room where a surprise
party has been set up to celebrate their first meeting. Pikachu
is so happy, and gives Ash a hug.
