There
are several items in the Grass Club side room that are found
in all 8 Clubs. A PC, like the one in Mason Laboratory, is
in one corner. Behind a counter are two Clerks. One runs the
Battle center, where you go if you want to duel another Pokemon
Trading card player through a link cable. The other runs the
Gift center, where you go to give or receive cards or decks
from another Pokemon Trading card player through the infrared
sensor or a link cable. This is different from Card Pop!-
it doesn't randomly give you a card, just lets you give them
away and get others. Finally, there are the bookshelves, where
you can find information about that Club's specialty Pokemon
type. Also in the side room is the Oddish-loving Lass. This
happy little girl will give you a Vileplume Lv35 for your
Oddish Lv8. If you agree, she'll trade with you again later
in the game, this time asking for a Clefairy Lv14 and a Charizard
Lv76 in exchange for a special promotional Pikachu Lv16 and
a Blastoise Lv52. If you've been to talk to Mitch at the Fighting
Club, Michael from that club willl be waiting in the lobby.
Finally, at the card table in the side room you'll find Brittany,a
Grass Club member resting from planting flowers. Brittany-
Etcetera deck Prizes: 4 Win: 2 Mystery boosters Aside from
the Grass Pokemon you'd expect, Brittany likes to use Psychic
types, mostly for their Sleep attacks, and a few Lightning
types. Look for her to try to put your active Pokemon to sleep
and power up her bench. After beating Brittany, head up to
the main room. The first person you'll meet there will be
Heather, who will gladly duel with you. Heather- Kaleidoscope
deck Prizes: 4 Win: 2 Colosseum boosters For a Grass Club
member, Heather doesn't use many Grass Pokemon. Her favorite
seems to be Eevee, but she has quite a variety in her deck.
Quite a few of them are Weak against Fighting types, if you
have any, but it isn't really necessary. Kristen- Flower Garden
deck Prizes: 4 Win: 2 Evolution boosters Next up is Kristen.
Many of her Pokemon are Weak against Fire types, as you would
expect from Grass Pokemon, but she also likes to use Pokemon
who can Paralyze to slow you down, so you may want to pack
a few Full Heals against her. Nikki- Flower Power deck Prizes:
6 Win: Grass Medal, 2 Laboratory boosters Finally, you've
reached Nikki- the Master of the Grass Club. She uses Grass
Pokemon almost exclusively, so keep those Fire types handy
and she shouldn't cause you any problems. She likes to use
Pokemon Breeder for cards like Venusaur Lv67 and Vileplume
Lv35, so keep an eye out for that, hitting Oddish Lv8 and
Bulbasaur Lv13 early. Your reward will be the Grass Medal!
