Whatever It Takes (1999)

Cast:Don "The Dragon" Wilson,Andrew "Dice" Clay,Fred Williamson

Two cops investigate steroids  dealing in professional sports. (Wrestling and Body building to be more precise) There is no getting around it this is just plain bad, make that awful. Clay has never been a steller comedian (Although I thought his "Dice Rules" flick was pretty funny) but with this stinker he doesn't do one thing even mildly funny, he just stands there with nowhere to go.

As for Wilson he comes off the best, and that's not saying much. He's still fun to watch in the action scenes but this is not one of his best. Williamson is over the top and transparent as the bad guy and he brings no conviction to the role.   When it comes down to it there isn't much positve about the movie. The action standard at best and the cinematography  poorly done.  If a friend  rents  the video to watch it , Do whatever it takes to not watch it because a waste of a good two hours is all the movie is.
