| Top Dog (1995) Cast:Chuck Norris,Michelle Lamar Richards,Eric Von Detten, Reno (The Dog) Chuck Norris stars as Jake Wilder a slob who gets partnered up with a dog who are a mismatched pair who go after a bunch of racist thugs who plan on assassinating the pope, in this moronic actioner geared towards kids which is too violent for the kiddies and too lame for adults. Norris is just terrible to watch, it's as if he's too old to do action flicks like Code Of Silence or Lone Wolf McQuade so he does kiddie flicks, no doubt aimed at his younger audience. However Top Dog is so beyond lame that it often lumbers from one scene to another. The comedy is terrible and the actionscenes are mediocre making this an overall, well. Dog. D. Aaron Norris *1/2 |
