| Surviving The Game (1994) Cast:Rutger Hauer,Ice-T,F.Murray Abraham,Gary Busey,Charles Dutton,William McNamara Ice-T is hunted by a group of wealthy hunters which he does not take lying down in this awful and downright dull actionflick that fails in all departments.. It's hard to believe a movie can be so inferior to a film it ripped off in this case Hard Target but Surviving The Game is poorly made,cliched and dull something Hard Target wasn't. Surviving is a waste of time, although one would assume something would be worthwhile considering the excellent cast, but for some reason Dickerson gives (Rutger Hauer,Charles Dutton,Gary Busey,William McNamara and F.Murray Abraham almost nothing to do, Busey especially is wasted as his screen time amounts to the least. Ice-T himself gives a better than average performance (For him.) but there is just nothing here enjoyable. Had there been some action things might've been a lot more enjoyable but here too, Dickerson manages to drop the ball. Basicly the movie is a bore and surviving this game (awake) will be a very tough chore .. D.Ernest Dickerson * |
