| Street Knight (1993) Cast:Jeff Speakman,Christopher Neame Speakman stars as an ex-cop whom must try to keep peace among Latino gangs and Black gangs with whom Neame is trying to start a war in this slightly above average Speakman movie. Speakman is fun to watch and some of the action is memorable but the movie is still standard actionfare, Not bad but not up to three star standards mainly because Neame is somewhat wasted in his bad guy role, the plot is dull and the movie is undistinguished although the one great scene in the movie has to be where Speakman uses two pipe wrenches to beat the hell out of his hapless opponent. But despite that imaginative scene Street Knight rarely steps out of genre cliches and fails to live up to expectations.. .D.Albert Magnoli **1/2 |
