| The 6th Day (2000) Cast:Arnold Schwarzenegger,Michael Rooker,Robert Duvall,Wendy Crewson,Tony Goldwyn,Michael Rapaport Schwarznegger rebounds from the awful End Of Days with this melodramatic Sci/Fi film about a regular guy cloned by a mad scientist which leads him tp fight back for to get his own life, so his life isn't stolen....and before you sat Total Recall Schwarzenegger is killing people left and right. While being watered down for a PG-13 The 6th Day manages to be quite fun and very entertaining although not as compelling as other Schwarzenegger fests that were cranked out in the 80'a but not all that bad and I enjoyed a lot of the movie even though I was slightly disappointed in the lack of impact made. Still those looking for a straight and foward (If not non-violent) action movie won't be disappointed.D. Roger Spottiswoode **1/2 |
