| The Shadow Conspiracy (1997) Cast:Charlie Sheen,Linda Hamilton,Donald Sutherland, Stephen Lang,Ben Gazzara Sheen stars as a secret service agent who finds himself targeted by assassins when he learns of a plot to kill the U.S president within the government, with only his girlfriend om his side Sheen must find out who is calling the shots in the conspiracy in this atrocious actioner. Certainly as far as these things go, The Shadow Conspiracy is a failure on all levels. It's not that Charlie Sheen can't act, he can even carry an actioner like this but when it comes to these movies it needs at least well, action. Half of the time is spent on boring conversations about what's going on, which would be better left applied. It's no secret that this was a colossal flop but looking at it through a conspiracy angle, one realizes that there is nothing that isn't telegraphed in advance. . No imagination has been inserted in this conspiracy caper and the results are as boring as one would imagine. Indeed, The Shadow Conspiracy is as superficial and lame as one would expect, but worst of all it's just plain dull. Worthless. D.George Pan Cosmatos * |
