| Resurrection (1999) Cast:Christopher Lambert,Robert Joy,Barbara Tyson, Leland Orser Although this lifts liberally from "Se7en" this entertaining and suspenseful thriller more then holds it's own from other clones of this breed. This movie is by no means a fun thriller although Lambert's presence would indicate otherwise, this is a dark and rather scary movie that kept me guessing. The acting from Lambert is for the most part decent (Unlike many of his other movies) But Joy steals the show as the serial killer. Joy really cuts loose and makes the movie worth the price of a rental....however all of this would have made for a mediocre movie if it hadn't been for Russell Mulcahy's directing, which never lets up and builds an atmosphere that enhances the hopelessness of the surroundings......when it comes to B.movie thrillers they just don't come much better then this.
