| Red Heat (1988) Cast:Arnold Schwarzenegger,James Belushi,Laurence Fishbourne,Ed O'Ross,Peter Boyle, Gina Gershon A Russian cop teams up with a Chicago detective to take out a Russian mobster. If you want a professional cop movie with great actionscenes, some good comic relief and decent acting this one more then fits the bill. The movie works thanks to the on screen chemistry between Schwarzenegger and Belushi, if the pairing had not worked "Red Heat" might have been a painful excercise in cliches but the duo make Red Heat work. Red Heat remains superior to a lot of cops/robbers movies out there due to it's unsuspected texture and is really quite enjoyable, especially enjoyable when played on DVD where the sound will bring new meaning to shootouts and fist-fights which make this a prime choice to be seen on DVD to test your speakers.
