| Rage (1997) Cast:Lorenzo Lamas,Gary Busey,Kristen Cloke,Roy Schieder Lamas stars as Nick a FBI agent who doesn't get along with his superior(Schieder) and is teamed with a new partner who both must fend off a brutal gang of psychos who are killing women and mutilating them in this mediocre Lamas vehicle. This standard actioner has a few fun moments such as Busey's over the top insanity but the brutality of this takes this down a few notches so it's not quite as fun, infact the movie's decent action sequences are the movie's biggest pluses, Lamas is once again his usual self although better then usual and the movie has some neat actionscenes but the plot gets in the way of the action. Really in conclusion this movie is your basic actioner, it has good actionscenes, not a very good story, dull acting and overall fast pace...The villians are drawn out in cardboard fashion and the movie fails to be anything but what it is,Yet it's mildly divering.
