| One Man's Justice (1995) Cast:Brian Bosworth, Bruce Payne, M.C Hammer, Jeff Kober,DeJuan Guy Brian Bosworth plays an army ranger (quite effectively) who becomes judge, jury and executioner after the death of his wife thanks to a group of drug dealers in this surprisingly enjoyable revenge actioner which has a few nice twists that keep things interesting. One Man's Justice is not as good as Bosworth's earlier movie Stone Cold but it does it's job as a solid actionflick which is only undermined by a few bland plot threads not to mention Hammer's really laughable villain. One Man's Justice contains quite an interesting script which actually sets up a few interesting plot threads that make this one a lot better than you would think, sure it's nothing great but in the line of straight to video action flicks, One Man Justice remains a cut above since the script actually contains more texture than usual. Plus the actionscenes are quite exciting and actually involve you because we actually care about characters. Sure saying this is one of Bosworths best is certainly a small compliment but as far as these things go, this is well worth a look. D.Kurt Wimmer *** |
