| Midnight Ride (1990) Cast:Michael Dudikoff,Mark Hamill,Robert Mitchum,Savina Gersak In what remains one of his better movies Dudikoff plays second fiddle to Mark Hamill's over the top insanity in Midnight Ride which casts Hamill as a psychotic hitchhiker who picks up Dudikoff's wife(Savina Gersak) and takes her for a wild ride with Dudikoff in hot pursuit.. Robert Mitchum makes a cameo appearence as Hamill's shrink. Well acted by the cast and a lot of fun, Midnight Ride will no doubt entertain anyone searching for fun exploitation. Thankfully though Hamill is aboard to make for one of the most memorable villians in a while, he is the movie, without Hamill this would be a major bust, the director fixes up some well staged actionscenes and while Dudikoff remains expressionless throughout, Hamill more then makes up for Dudikoff, making Midnight Ride a fast paced and entertaining bash fest.. .D.Bob Bralver*** |
