| The Mechanic (1972) Cast:Charles Bronson,Jan-Michael Vincent Bronson stars as a hitman who takes on an apprentence and is then doublecrossed by the "Organization" and they must now fight for their lives. Slow moving Bronson vehicle earns extra half star rating with it's twist ending. Charles Bronson really lays it on thick and he makes a believable assassin. Before Charles Bronson ruined his career with millions of vigilante flicks he made decent films,The Mechanic is noteworthy for those who those were saddened by his lousy Death Wish sequels which are enjoyable only in a mindless way.
