| Last Action Hero (1993) Cast:Arnold Schwarzenegger,F.Murray Abraham, Charles Dance,Anthony Quinn,Austin O'Brien Last Action Hero is a half-baked action movie parody which explores the cliches' that occupy the genre, although the movie isn't quite the turkey people label it, Last Action Hero suffers from an overall flat footed feel that seems like the Director John McTiernan didn't know where to take the premise after he got the idea off the ground. Last Action Hero though is pretty decent when it transports the story to the real world and often focuses on Schwarzenegger's confusion of his surroundings. However most of the time Last Action Hero doesn't work as either comedy or action with too much plot getting in the way of action.
