| Lady Dragon 2 (1994) Cast:Cynthia Rothrock,Billy Drago,Sam Jones Cynthia Rothrock takes on the thugs who killed her husband over some diamonds in this awesomely dull sequel which features such a boring plot that we hardly care about the indifferently staged actionscenes. Lady Dragon 2 lacks any of the mean-edged fun of it's predecessor and for the most part is a bore. .The thing I kept wondering through out this deadly dull sequel is why we should feel sorry for Rothrock's husband who at gun point refuses to give up the diamonds. Oh he also lets Rothrock get raped and has leg sliced up because he refuses to give up diamonds that aren't his. The ridiculous premise ensues because Rothrock is first of all seems bored with the movie. Billy Drago is a seasoned veteran when it comes to these kind of roles and he does add swagger to the role but he fails to make this interesting. Last but not least the action is mediocre and lacks excitement. Only a last minute knife to the balls leaves any impression. D.David Worth *1/2 |
