| Lady Dragon (1992) Cast:Cynthia Rothrock,Richard Norton,Robert Ginty Cynthia Rothrock stars as Kathy Gallager a vengeance seeking woman who marks Richard Norton, the killer of her husband for death, after she fails her assassination attempt she trains with a wise old mentor and prepares to exact her revenge in this solid actioner which benefits due to a mean edge. Lady Dragon is a lot better than one would expect from a martial arts actioner. As for quality, I've always been softer on martial arts actioners than action movies in general, because when it comes to a martial arts movie, all we expect is tons of martial arts action with little heroics, as far as these things go Lady Dragon is a definite cut above most genre movies. The movie is mean spirited, but well made, lively and features enough well staged action to be worth the rental. Of course some flaws do come through the woodwork such as plotholes and the waste of Robert Ginty but as these things go Lady Dragon has a very watchable edge.Time never drags and I found it quite enjoyable, especially Norton who impresses as a villain.
